Just a few days to go!!!!!

30 Aug 2022

With just over a week to go before the 10th LIBF gets underway, here are a few things you can do to prepare for it:

Buy tickets in advance if you can. There will be some tickets left on the door for every session, however we will not know how many or how long they will last.
Tickets can be bought through our website here

If you do have leftover tokens from previous years do BRING THEM IN as you will be able to spend them! Just beware that there will be no change available at the bars and no refunds. Otherwise the festival will be a cashless site.

Plan your trip – Kirkstall Abbey is not far from the city centre so one of the best ways to get to the beer festival is using public transport.
You can get to Leeds International Beer Festival with Leeds City! Download the First Bus App to plan your journey, buy your bus ticket and track your bus live. An Adult Single Trip is just £2 on the app and is valid for one single journey on any First Bus across West Yorkshire.

Services from the city centre to Kirkstall Abbey:

33/34 from Leeds Bus Station and the Headrow stopping outside Kirkstall Abbey on Kirkstall Road on a 15-minute frequency Mon-Sat.

50/50A from Eastgate and the Headrow stopping outside the Kirkstall Abbey Museum on Morris Lane on a 12-minute frequency.

Fringe events – Some of the best venues in town have organised plenty of fringe events in the run up to the beer festival. We will list them in our Events Page before the weekend so keep your eyes peeled!

Download the Festival Programme – Upon entry all ticket holders will receive a commemorative glass and Festival programme with all the food, music and beer listings. However, if you’re organised and want to get ahead of the game, you can have a look at it and download it here from 1st September.
