A huge thanks to everyone who attended LIBF this year – over 4 days 7000 people attended the festival here in Leeds Town Hall and the feedback from audiences has been overwhelming. First time visitors may not have been aware of just how big the festival had grown since the first edition back in 2012 – with the introduction of two new beer rooms, an outdoor food and drink market and two music stages. We could not have put all this together without the generous help of so many lovely individuals – special thanks go out to all those people that worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make everything happen, to all the bands and performers who entertained audiences, to our amazing and friendly volunteers who worked throughout the weekend to help create a brilliant atmosphere and to all the breweries and food traders who invested their time and energy into creating an unforgettable festival experience – your incredible support has helped us to present, what we think, to be a great beer festival.
Finally we’d like to say a huge thank you to the thousands of people who attended this year’s event to experience the 100’s of beers on offer – your generosity also helped our chosen charity, Water Aid, raise nearly £1000 – you all make the festival what it is.
In the next few weeks we’ll be announcing next year’s dates and news of some future ventures. In the meantime we’ll be launching a new gallery page here on leedsbeer.com which we hope will bring back memories of that special weekend in September.
