The Magic Spanner Bar @ Leeds Town Hall Cells!
22 Apr 2014
To celebrate Yorkshire’s Grand Départ of the Tour de France our friends at Magic Rock have created a new beer inspired by the biggest cycling event in the world – The Magic Spanner, a delightful extra pale original to quench the thirst. And if that wasn’t exciting enough we’ll be serving up the beer in a special pop up bar in the old Victorian Cells under Leeds Town Hall from 27 June – 6 July. So, whether you’re on foot or on your bike make sure you stop by the Town Hall for some lovely beer refreshment. Full details regarding opening times and special food events will be announced shortly.

The Magic Spanner: Extra Pale Original 3.9%
An invitingly pale and refreshingly crisp ale featuring Golden Promise malt and judiciously hopped with a blend of UK and US hops for a tantalising aroma, and satisfying flavour. Our tribute to the greatest race in the world’s visit to our home county and the perfect reward for long days in the saddle.
The Magic Spanner: The situation where a mechanic in a support vehicle will appear to be making adjustments to the bike but in reality they are giving fatigued riders a break by holding onto the car and getting a massive push-off when the commissaires get too close.
